Lately, I have been shooting almost exclusively with my Rolleiflex. I received the “Rollei” back in November when it was given to me by a dear Uncle, my Father’s Brother. I really love it. Especially the huge viewfinder. The quality of the pictures is spectacular, they have an ethereal quality to them that I am totally digging! Here are a few shots from the old girl…

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band ~ Anaheim 2012

Well, here I am again, pushing my little Canon G9 to it’s limits, while I pretend to be Bruce Springsteen’s official photographer. We sat behind the stage and to the far left of Bruce. Despite an enormous mass of neatly tied wires blocking part of my view of the stage, the seats were quite excellent for some decent photographs.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band ~ LA 2012

A night in LA… I really pushed my Canon G-9 to it’s limits this night. Given that our seats were far from the stage and I had the ISO set to 1600 I didn’t expect much detail or clarity in these photos. When I finally looked at them I was pleasantly surprised! Detail in Bruce’s and other band members faces. Light is great at 1600, and grainy of course, but it gives all the photos a filmy feel which I really like.
